Here is what we've been up to the past couple of months.
We've done a lot of hanging out. It's kinda what we do best.
The first weekend in November, we went to Southern Utah to bless Anna. She had great time meeting some of her extended family.
She met her Grandpa Bruce,
her Great-Grandma Sullivan,
and her cousin Jacee, who is so excited to have a gal pal in the family to play with. Oh yeah, and the banana costume may have also made an appearance.
Anna's Grandma Sullivan and Aunt Colleen threw Anna a Sip and See (a baby shower after the baby is born where you sip drinks and see the baby). Anna was able to meet a lot of her extended family members but the only picture we got of the event were the cute decorations.
Her dad was able to sneak in some snuggle time afterwards.
I was able meet my new nephew Nico who was born in July. We spent some time catching up on how's life's been.
The day was so much fun and Anna slept like a baby that night.
The next day was Anna's blessing and Anna looked beautiful in her dress. Chris gave her a beautiful blessing and she was a perfect angel during it.
Later that day, we gathered the troops from my side of the family for a picture. It was drizzling enough that we had no choice but to take the picture in our driveway. It got a little dicey when all the kids started to get restless from missing their afternoon naps but it was nothing that a spontaneous singing of the ABC's couldn't handle. It ended up being a hilarious moment and we got some good pictures of it.
The next day, Anna took her first trip to Deseret Industries. Gotta start them out young.
She got a bouncer from her Great Aunt Joyce and Cousin Nikki during her visit to St. George and she LOVES it.
You can see it on her face.
It also makes it easier to work on her soul patch. She works hard moving her head side to side making sure the top part is really bald.
For Thanksgiving, we were able to spend it in Springville with Chris's side of the family. Chris's mom had a great time dressing her up and taking pictures. So cute!
Anna was able to meet her Great-Grandma Knusden...
and lots...
and lots...
...of family! The company was great and the food was plentiful and delicious. We had a great time!
She really enjoyed it.
The day after Thanksgiving, we drove down to St. George where we spent Friday and Saturday at Santa's Workshop, a gift show that my mom has put on for close to thirty years. She didn't mind Santa so much at first...
...then decided it just wasn't her thing.
It was also not Elliott's thing either. Poor guy.
Nico, however, was right at home.
Jacee was so funny to watch. She is so spunky and can hold her own with her two older brothers.
We did a lot of hanging out.
Jandee made some delicious cookies that she sold.
We all had a great time.
Saturday morning, Chris and I were able to take these two little guys to the park and realized how hard it was to keep track of two energetic boys at one time at a busy park. There were no incidents but man, they had a lot of energy.
When we got back, we had our ward Christmas party and Anna was the cutest little Santa Anna.
Adorable.
Like I said earlier, we are totally loving watching Anna grow. She's growing so fast and we don't want to forget anything. Some little things about Anna:
She loves bath time. It doesn't matter if it's a bath or shower, she'll loves being in the warm water.
She has the chipmunkiest (yes, I just made up that word) cheeks. Seriously look at them.
Here's another illustration of her cheekiness from our most recent road trip to Utah.
She is a great sleeper. She'll sleep through pretty much any noise or commotion.
She's sleeping through the night. It's so wonderful for everyone involved. We zip her up in her Woombie and she'll be out for a good solid 7-8 hours.
She's great on road trips. In the past six weeks, we've traveled to Utah three times and she's slept pretty much the entire time.
She's a very cute and a very happy baby.
She gives us great smiles and loves to coo and talk our ears off.
At her last appointment with the doctor, she weighed 11lbs 3oz and was 23 inches.
She's a joy and a blessing in our lives. We love her so much. Happy three months Anna!!!
