Six weeks

I feel like I just did a post for her one month mark yesterday and now, here we are at six weeks.  Time is really flying.  We had a weight check yesterday and she's grown from 7 lbs even to a whopping 9 lbs 7 oz.  Two and a half punds in just six weeks.  I looked at her in her car seat on Monday and thought to myself, "man, she has grown so much."  She had a weight gain issue the first couple weeks of her life but we've obviously gotten to the bottom of things.

Case in point:  this is the outfit we put on her when we left the hospital and she drowned in it.  It's fitting her quite nicely now.  

She's starting to smile more and it's so awesome.  We mostly get the smiles like this after a good feeding when her belly is full.  Can't blame her.  

She looks like she just came from Who-ville in this picture.  

Who knows what she looks at.  She'll gaze into the distance and just stare.  

Her hair cracks me up.  You can see it a little bit in this picture but she her hair is pretty short on the majority of her head but quite a bit longer down by her neck.  Beginnings of a baby mullet?  She wouldn't hate us too bad when she looks back at the pictures, right? 

This is a pretty good representation of how things go around here sometimes.  She's awake and alert a lot more.  

This is what she thinks about tummy time.  Breaks my heart but she's doing really well in lifting up her head.  Good thing she only has to suffer for a couple minutes.  

  Let's leave this post on a happy note.  She really is a very happy baby.  And we love her. So much!
